Feng Shui Case Study

During the Covid-19 pandemic I was fortunate to be invited to perform a Feng Shui consultation for a client, Ana Coppola, via Whatsapp video.

Ana is a celebrity trainer who recently moved into an apartment in the southern parts of Sydney.

She wanted to set herself up for success by aligning the positive energies of her new space with the use of traditional Feng Shui techniques.

Although it is not the same as investigating the space in person, conducting consultations via video conference is still powerful and can yield very positive results.

To achieve an effective Feng Shui consultation via video conference it is essential to provide the Feng Shui professional with scale floor plans of the house in question prior to the video consultation.

Fortunately Ana was organised and provided full scale plans well in advance to our video consultation - thank you Ana.

A professional Feng Shui consultant will analyse the floor plans before the video conference to:

1) understand the flow of energy in the apartment and which sectors require activation,
2) become familiar with the space before been taken through on the video conference, and
3) identify particular areas of the apartment that require further investigation while on the video conference.

Some Feng Shui consultants believe they can achieve effective results by performing a quick visual analysis of the premises during the video call. Such rushed consultations result in inadequate advice, such as placing wind chimes over doorways and in hidden corners of the apartment. This is not inline with traditional Feng Shui techniques and will most likely produce insignificant results.

Always remember a professional Feng Shui consultant will take their time to fully understand the space under investigation and always come prepared.

Another important factor that has a significant impact on any Feng Shui reading is the facing of the apartment (or the direction that the front of the apartment faces).
Fortunately this aspect can be analysed with modern technology (such as Google Maps and other mobile applications). A verification and visual inspection of the facing of the apartment is confirmed during the video conference to validate any Feng Shui conclusions.

Feng Shui Analysis and Suggested Implementations

Using the traditional Feng Shui techniques taught by my masters in the San Yuen Yuen Gua (SYYG) system, I divided Ana’s apartment into 24 sectors.

After careful analysis of each sector, I could tell the new apartment had very good Feng Shui foundations for Ana. My thoughts were confirmed when Ana explained that shortly after moving in, sales for her personal training products from her website started to increase.

In addition to the positive Feng Shui foundations, the facing of the apartment aligned with Ana’s personal energy. Again, my analysis was confirmed by Ana during the video conference, as she explained that she feels a calmness in her new space and that it has a comfortable vibe.

I explained to Ana, that the most beneficial configuration of the apartment for her was the “Heaven Cross with Storages Opened” Feng Shui configuration.

In the SYYG Feng Shui system, the Heaven Cross configuration can help someone become well known within their industry - one of Ana’s goals as a celebrity personal trainer. The Storages Opened aspect helps to bring out the goodness from them.
In addition to the above, I advised activation of the sector that resonates with her birth year will produce further positive energies. This is known as the 3-8 configuration activation.
Those who have studied the SYYG system from me, will know that the 3-8 Feng shui configuration helps to benefit someone in the Training and Education industries. Activating this technique will assist in winning a completion. I personally have the 3-8 Feng Shui configuration activated for my own home.

During the video conference, I noted a few minor issues with the Feng Shui and flow of energy in Ana’s apartment. However these were easily overcome with a few suggestions to minimise the disruptions.
