Feng Shui 2021 Year of the Yin Metal Ox - Earth Luck

Feng Shui 2021 Year of the Yin Metal Ox - Earth Luck

Feng Shui Earth Luck is about the annual feng shui Qi visiting a location which can be a home or
an office.

Each year, the Feng Shui Sheng Qi (生氣good energy) and Sha Qi (煞氣bad energy) flows through different sectors of a house/building. Each year we use the Feng Shui Earth Luck to harness these flows and optimize the Qi where we live, work and play.

We need to mitigate the Feng Shui Sha Qi first. Then we activate the Feng Shui Sheng Qi.
If you have been following my Feng Shui Earth Luck articles, you may know that each year, there
are three big Sha Qi and three lucky Sheng Qi stars flying around regardless of the facing and
sitting of the house or an office. There is also a couple of medium Sha Qi rotating each year. These Sheng Qi and Sha Qi shift to different locations or sectors of the house and the office each year.

Below I will show you some Feng Shui tips to deal with these Feng shui Sha Qi and Sheng Qi in the year of the Yin Metal Ox 2021.

However before we can implement these tips, we need to pinpoint their locations.

Let's take a look at the directions and positions of the Sheng Qi and Sha Qi in the year of the Yin Metal
Earth Ox 2021.

  1. The Tai Sui (Grand Duke) in the year of the Ox, It is located at the North-north-east (Chou)
sector. (丑字位between 22.50° to 37.50° measure form the centre of the house. Same as
  2. San Sha (the 3-killings) arrives at the East (Zhen震 Gua 52.5°-127.5°). It covers a big area.
  3. The Five Yellow. It is landed at the South-east (Xun Gua.巽卦112.5°-157.5°)
  4. The power, travelling and promotion star number 6 is returned to the centre.
  5. The money and prosperity star number 8 is located at the West sector (Dui (兌) Gua 247.5°-
  6. The Flower of Romance star number 9 is at North-east (Gen艮 Gua 22.5°- 67.5°)
  7. The Wu and Ji Sha (戊己煞) is located at the North-west (Xu and Hai) sectors (Xu 戌292.5°-
    317.5° and Hai 亥322.5°- 337.5°)

Year of the Ox Earth Luck

This Earth Luck diagram, it is different from the normal map. The top is south and the bottom
is north.

A classical Feng Shui saying: “大煞宜避, 中煞可制, 小煞不理”
The direct translation of this classic saying is: “Avoid the big Sha. Cure the medium Sha. Ignore the
tiny Sha.”
The number one rule to deal with the Sha Qi is: “Respect them DO NOT disturb them or activate
Do not activate the Sha Qi. Therefore, “Move Earth”, which means digging ground or renovating
the sectors inside and outside your house, is prohibited. (Unless you are not living in the house
when you are renovating it)
Yearly Sha Qi is like a sleeping tiger. It will be fine without any activation. With strong activation,
the tiger will be wakening up from sleep and if you are nearby, it will hurt you.

THE NORTH-NORTH-EAST (22.5°-37.5°) 丑字位OX

The Tai Sui is also known as The Grand Duke.
Measured from the centre of your house, the Tai Sui is located at the north-north-east Ox sector (丑
字位) in the year of the Ox. It is the yearly King sector. If you don’t know how to measure the
centre of your house, you can watch my video HERE.

In traditional Feng Shui, there is a way to activate the Tai Sui in order to make the yearly King
be your friend. Activating the Tai Sui can help facilitate the achievement of your goal quicker if the house or office facing direction supports this. But first, we must respect the Tai Sui. We do not disturb the sector of the Tai
Sui of the year.
In your house or office, if the main entrance is located to the North-north-east (Ox sector 丑字位), do
not disturb the area. If so, it may bring issues to the digestive issue, nose problem, hand or liver
The Ox sector is within the Gen Gua area (艮卦). It is the younger son’s sector or boys under 18
years old. Tai Sui relates to our health and emotion.
The Ox sector also relates to people born in the year of the Ox (1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997,
If the main entrance of your house or office is at Ox sector, please keep this Tai Sui area as quiet
as possible. Don’t slam the door. Make sure to open and close the doors gently at all the Sha Qi
To reduce the impact of the Tai Sui of the Ox in 2021, place a tall squarish vase with three lucky
bamboos in water at the Ox sector entrance. Replace the lucky bamboos once it turns yellowish or
the water suddenly becomes muddy.
The Gen sector has the flying star number #9 visiting in year of the Ox. The number #9 star means
happy event, wedding, pregnancy or giving birth if the Gen area is activated correctly.
There are techniques to activate the flying star number 9 for romance and fertility. However, it is
too complicated to explain here.

52.5° – 127.5°)

In the year of the yin Metal Ox 2021, the Feng Shui San Sha Qi 三煞 (Three lots of Sha Qi) lands
at the East sector, the Zhen Gua area. It covers a big area.
The three-killing or San Sha Qi represents lawsuits, gossips, theft, robbery and arguments.
The Zhen Gua is the eldest Son’s sector. It also represents the legs, the liver, angry emotion.
The eldest son, man’s age between 36-54 years old or any person born in the year of the Rabbit
(1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011…) and the last digit of the birth year is 4 or 5, need to take
care the above mentioned areas.
Do not disturb the 3-Killings Sha.
In global Feng Shui scale, the Three-Killing Sha is at the East. The East of China also includes
Japan, North Korea, South, Korea, Taiwan and USA. These areas will face some conflicts and
disputes, even military action.
To minimize the bad feng shui effects of the Three-Killings Sha in your house and office, in the
East sector place a Metal round disc or a metal vase without water.

(XUN GUA 巽卦112.5° – 157.5°)

The 5-Yellow Sha represents misfortune, obstacles and sickness.
The 5-Yellow Sha is located at the southeast sector. (Xun Gua 巽卦 sector)
Xun巽卦 belongs to the eldest daughter or female age between 36 to Menopause.
Xun Gua also represents the hips, the back, heels, wind, hairs,
The eldest daughters happen to be born in the year of dragon or Snake in the house need to take
extra care of the above mentioned body areas. Reduce alcohol consumption.
Keep the Southeast sector as quiet as possible. Do not renovate inside or outside this sector.
To reduce the effect of the 5-Yellow Sha Qi at the southeast sector, if there is a door or entrance,
you can place round metal objects (metal vase, metal disc, metal cylinder) next to the door. Do not
put water in the vase.

The annual flying star #8 represents wealth and prosperity is located at west of the house in the
year of Yin Metal Ox 2021.
If you have a main door or a side door open to at the west sector of your house, use it as much as
possible. It brings wealth to the house for the youngest daughter and person born in the year of the
Rooster (1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005…)
To bring in more wealth, you can place a water feature or fish tank to further activate the area.

The annual flying star number #9 means romance and happy event is coming to the northeast of
the house, in the Gen Gua area.
The annual star #9 also can increase people luck meaning if it is activated, it bring you to meet
more people. It is a good star for networking people too.
It is located at the same Gua as the Tai Sui. It need to be carefully activated without offended the
Tai Sui. It is best to keep the area quiet.

The Power Star #6 also is known as the promotion and travelling star, the annual star #6 comes to
the centre palace of the house.
The travelling star #6 is trapped in the centre. There is no chance to travel far away from home.
However, we can activate the centre palace for promotion. To do this, place a metal sphere object
in the centre of the house.

The Sui Poh Sha is opposite to the Tai Sui sector. It is located at Wei (未字位202.5°-217.5°) in
the south-south-west sector.
9. The Wu and Ji Sha (戊己煞) is located at the northwest sectors (Xu and Hai) sectors (Xu 戌
292.5°-317.5° and Hai 亥322.5°- 337.5°)
Both Sui Poh and the Wu Ji Sha areas, “Move Earth” or “Digging” the areas is prohibited. If the
areas are disturbed, it brings health issues to the head, respiratory system and digestive system of
the father or male person over 55 years old.
